QVC’s Recruitment policies

In order to fulfill QVC's manpower requirements, the aim is to recruit highly qualified individuals based on factors covering education and experience plus other requirements as determined by the job specification.

A key factor is to employ personnel with a broad educational and professional background in order to promote flexibility within the organisation.

Qatarization in QVC

QVC is for the government of Qatar, a vehicle to provide employment opportunities for its nationals. Particular focus is on recruitment, development and promotion of Qatari human resources.

As part of QP's Strategic Plan, QVC has established a plan to increase the number of Qatari Nationals. This includes the recruitment and development of fresh university graduates as well as vocational trainees.

Welfare of Employees

QVC's personnel policy has particular focus on the welfare of the employees, who are provided with fully furnished accommodation. To enable them to satisfy their social and recreational needs, employees are also provided with membership of one of the available clubs.

Regular social gatherings are organised by the company for all employees and their families.

Training of QVC Employees

The Company's manpower is its most important asset. QVC's aim is to achieve its goals whilst at the same time providing each employee the opportunity to obtain job satisfaction and career development. Therefore, we provide our employees with the necessary skills and knowledge needed as per their job requirements and training needs.

QP training centers are utilised for common training and development programs. External training bodies are also used to meet QVC's specific requirements.


The aim of QVC is to be among the globally leading operators of vinyl facilities. The organisation has been designed with operational objectives to produce and sell as the focal points.

The organisation is flat with a lean structure and few layers. Manpower comes from various nations with backgrounds from different regions, and professional cultures. The working environment has been established to enhance open, honest and swift communication resulting in organisational unity and a common understanding of company goals and strategies throughout all levels of the organisation.
