Petroleum (QP) 25.5%
QP
is a wholly state-owned corporation whose corporate objective
is to manage all phases and aspects of the hydrocarbons business
in Qatar. QP has a majority equity stake in Qatar's LNG, refining
and petrochemical industries.
Qatar Petrochemical
Company (QAPCO)
QAPCO is a world-scale petrochemical company
currently producing and marketing ethylene, polyethylene
and sulphur. Established in 1974, it commenced operations in 1980
and is located in the Mesaieed Industrial City. QAPCO is 80% owned
by Industries Qatar (Industries Qatar is a QP company) and 20% owned by Total Petrochemicals.

Norsk
Hydro 29.7%
Norsk Hydro is a lead supplier of PVC to Scandinavia and the UK
with an established commercial network for plastics in Asia, by
virtue of its PVC production in China. Industrially
and commercially involved in Qatar since 1970, through a 25%
stake in QAFCO (Qatar Fertiliser Company) a leading global producer
of fertilisers. Yara International, a spin off from Norsk Hydro is currently having the 25% stake in QAFCO.
Arkema
12.9%
Present in over 40 countries with 18,600 employees, Arkema achieves
sales of 5.2 billion euros and is a global chemical player holding
leadership positions in its principal markets.
It consists of 3 coherent and balanced business segments, one of
them beeing the Vinyl Products: Chlorochemicals and
PVC, Vinyl Compounds, Pipes and Profiles (Arkema is the second largest
chlorine producer in Western Europe),
Arkema develops its activities by combining safety and environmental
protection, client proximity, industrial reliability, and
competitiveness.
